GROK NEWS: Zak Returns from His Japanese Adventure!
Welcome back Zak Johns, one of our talented Software Developers, who's returned from an incredible two-week journey across Japan—refreshed, inspired, and ready to dive back into Grok life!
Zak’s travels took him to Tokyo, Kyoto, and the serene town of Kinosaki Onsen. From the buzzing streets of Shinjuku to the peaceful charm of traditional Ryokans, he truly made the most of his adventure.
Some highlights included visits
to iconic sites like Senso-ji Temple, Meiji Jingu, the Great Buddha of Kamakura (Daibutsu), and the stunning Shinjuku Gyoen National Park. In Kyoto and Kinosaki, Zak embraced the culture by staying in traditional Japanese inns and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the onsen town.
We’re thrilled to have Zak back (even if we’re a little jealous) and can’t wait to see what fresh inspiration his travels bring to the team!
Welcome back, Zak!

Wishing Daniel a Speedy Recovery!
And in other news—our apprentice, Daniel Field, had a bit of a mishap on his motorbike last week. Fortunately, he walked away with just a few scrapes and bruises, and we’re incredibly relieved it wasn’t anything more serious.
The whole team at Grok is sending Daniel our best wishes for a quick and smooth recovery. Rest up, take it
easy—and no more dramatics leaving work for a while, please!
We look forward to seeing you back very soon. 💪
Stay tuned for next week’s update!
